L dimension is based on the 45 deg chamfering insert.@Procedure@(1) Place the TIDC drill body into the chamfer adapter without chamfer inserts.@(2) Adjust the overhang length of the drill body with the adjusting screw at the bottom of the adapter.@(3) Adjust the position of the drill body so that the drill body is fixed at the flat and tighten the clamping screw of the drill body. This aligns the flutes of the TIDC drill body with the chamfer inserts.@(4) To clamp the chamfer inserts, tighten the clamping screw of the insert while pushing the insert into the insert pocket.
